Northridge Landscapes started as a lawn maintenance service in the mid 1990s. David Gray founded the business as a way to make a living in the summers of high school and college. The company eventually expanded to offer year-round service and landscape construction. Demand for quality landscaping increased, taking up the bulk of David’s time. He sold off the lawn maintenance portion of his business in order to focus on landscaping design and installation.
The landscaping business came into high demand because of David Gray’s expertise in hardscapes such as retaining walls, steps, water features, patios and more. Irrigation design soon followed, making Northridge Landscapes a comprehensive landscaping contractor. Once again, David refocused his business—this time on hardscapes.
